The Apperta Foundation is a not-for-profit community interest company supported by NHS England and NHS Digital (HSCIC) led by clinicians to promote open systems and standards for digital health and social care. All users of the Apperta.org are approved and access the system through a user ID and password for their protection and privacy. Apperta is committed to protecting your privacy. At no time is your private information shared with third parties that have no right to that information. All collected information will be protected consistent with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998. Below are examples of what we do with your information. apperta.org contains hyperlinks to websites owned and operated by third parties. These third party websites have their own privacy policies, and are also likely to use cookies, and we therefore urge you to review them. They will govern the use of personal information you submit, which may also be collected by cookies whilst visiting these websites. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for the privacy practices of such third party websites and your use of such websites is at your own risk.

When Accessing https://Apperta.org/:

We may collect and store information for statistical purposes. The following are representative of the types of information that may be collected and stored about your visit:

  • the Internet domain and Internet Protocol (IP) address from which you access .Apperta.org;

When Registering:

When you register, we will require that you complete a registration form. Personal information such as your first name, last name of some users, middle name, telephone, email, agency, affiliation, and office will be requested and stored.

When Searching and Browsing:

We will collect and store information for statistical purposes. For example, when you login to the Apperta.org site to search and browse for information, we will automatically gather and store certain information about your visit such as the number of logins, pages visited, and articles viewed.

When Providing Feedback:

When you provide feedback about the Apperta.org you may be sending personal information such as your name, address, and email address. We may store this information in order to respond to your request or otherwise resolve the subject matter of the email.

Cookie Notice:

A cookie is a text file placed on the hard drive of a computer by some Web pages or Web servers. Cookies cannot run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. They are uniquely assigned to a visitor and can only be read by a Web server in the domain that issued the cookie.
